You can translate the platform interface, menus, and eBook content directly using your web browser.
No changes are needed on the platform itself as everything happens through your browser’s translation tools.
Below are the methods supported by the most common browsers.
Translate the platform interface and eBook content
Google Chrome (Built‑in Translation)
Google Chrome includes automatic translation by default, whereby the entire page, including navigation, UI elements, and eBook text, will be translated.
Google Chrome should automatically show a translation prompt near the address bar. If it doesn’t, right‑click anywhere on the page and select Translate to [your language].

🤓 Tip: If you want Chrome to always translate a specific language, choose the Always translate option when prompted.
Microsoft Edge (Requires a translation extension)
Microsoft Edge doesn't reliably translate Access Learning Content without an extension.
To translate, you can visit the Microsoft Edge Add‑ons Store to search for a free translation extension (for example, Microsoft Translator or Google Translate).
After adding the extension to your browser, open the platform or eBook, then use the extension’s translate button to translate the page.
📌 Note: Extensions vary slightly in how they trigger translation, but most offer a simple translate this page button.
Translating subtitles in audio and video
Subtitles work a little differently than normal page text described above.
Google Chrome
Google Chrome uses the same built‑in page translation described above. If subtitles are displayed as text on the page, Google Chrome can translate them automatically.
Microsoft Edge
To translate subtitles in Microsoft Edge, you'll also need a translation extension.
Most browser‑based translators can translate subtitle text as long as it appears on the page.
⚠️Important: Subtitles that are part of the video image cannot be translated by any browser. Only subtitles displayed as text on the webpage can be translated.
Troubleshooting
Sometimes translated pages may shift slightly in layout or formatting, especially in eBooks.
If this happens, try the below troubleshooting steps.
Refresh the page.
Re‑apply the translation.
If Microsoft Edge behaves inconsistently, try switching to Google Chrome.
If using a different browser than those above, search online for how to translate a webpage in your browser.
